Kokedama is the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil. It is wrapped with string and contains an ornamental plant growing inside. These beautiful and decorative plants bring an organic and natural touch to planting orchids, succulents, and other ornamental plants The Hanging Kokedama is approximately 5″ wide, with a total height of 19″ including the hook, making it an ideal size for various settings. The moss ball design not only adds a rustic charm but also supports the orchid’s growth by maintaining moderate humidity levels. To ensure your orchid thrives, water it when the potting media feels dry, typically once a week, and avoid letting it sit in water to prevent root rot. This versatile hanging planter can be displayed both indoors and outdoors, adding a vibrant touch to patios, living rooms, or even office spaces. The Phalaenopsis orchid requires good air circulation and temperatures between 65-85 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, with slightly cooler nights. Fertilize your orchid with a balanced orchid fertilizer every 1-2 weeks. We recommend Better-Gro Orchid Plus and Better Gro Better Bloom and repot every 1-2 years using a well-draining orchid potting mix to maintain optimal health.
